Elected to represent architecture students at 34 universities in 13 states. Facilitated region-wide student conferences at the Univ. of Minnesota and the Univ. of Nebraska. Quarterly board of directors meetings to balance budgets and discuss strategic planning goals for 6,000 member non-profit organization. Chaired Studio Culture task force to address methods of improving architectural education. Aided in planning of national student conference at the Univ. of Texas at Austin, attended by 1,000+ students for the purpose of enhancing professional education.

U of M alumnus, Mr. Burnett led the overthrow of Flight 93 on 9/11. This highly-selective, year-long program aspires to instill into participants the value of community and the role of action and selflessness for the common good.

Led student trips to conferences at the Univ. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the national conference, Forum, in Chicago, attended by 1,500+ members.
